There are many stories of pro's and con's when it comes to using a motorcycle broker when the time comes to sell your bike.

In this article we will explain how they work.

A broker relieves you of the stress of dealing with the buying public.

Gone are the days of having to deal with calls at all hours asking questions about the bike, disrupting you whilst you are at work.

They eliminate those folk that make appointments to come and see the bike and then never turn up.

A broker can offer a warranty with each motorcycle that is sold making it more attractive for the prospective buyer.

They can put buyers in touch with finance people to assist in the sale of your bike.

They remove the need for you to negotiate. You tell the broker the price that you are selling your bike for and that is the price that they sell it for. If there is room to move on the price you advise them and let them do all the haggling.

The fact that your bike sits on the floor with other bikes is a bonus as there is often a "motorcycle" theme to these places. e.g. bike magazines, screens showing bike races, coffee on offer, riding gear on offer. It all adds to the "feel".
